bovie Medical Instrument maker Bhampsal will supply government of Punjab under the AAP government.
Bhampal, a subsidiary of medical device maker Bhosla Ltd, will be supplying medical devices and equipment to the Punjab government through the Joint Marketing Corporation.
The JMC will be the main agency of distribution of medical devices for the state government.
The JMP will be headed by chief medical officer of Punjab, Dr Arvind Kumar.
It will be tasked with distributing the JMP’s product portfolio across Punjab.
Medical device maker Dr Bhampals medical instrument, manufactured by Dr Bhat, will also be supplied by the JMC.
Dr Kumar said the company has been working in Punjab for the last six years.
“The government has been very supportive and has given us a clear direction in the direction we should be taking with regard to supply of medical products to the state,” he said.
